Migraines and headaches

It is important to understand that the treatment of headaches and migraines can be complex and individual. Many people have reported that certain dietary and lifestyle changes can help reduce the frequency and severity of migraine attacks.

There are three different types of headaches:

Tension headache: This work is pressing and grinding which is usually felt on both sides of the head.

The cause is believed to be both hormonal and environmental, where there is usually a genetic link and heredity. Many people who suffer from migraine often have a relative who also has the same problem.

Here are our tips for preventing migraines and headaches in your everyday life:

1. Reduce stress: try to reduce the stress in your life by e.g. walking, yoga, relaxation exercises or mindfulness.

2. Regular exercise: Exercise can reduce tension in the body, but avoid intense exercise as it can trigger migraine attacks.

3. Sleep and meals: It is important that you get enough sleep and have regular meals. Lack of this can trigger migraines.
